The Collier Awards Symposium is an annual panel series that convenes award winners from across the country to discuss the ethical challenges they encountered in the course of reporting their award-winning stories. The Peter F. Collier Awards for Ethics in Journalism commend journalism that meets the highest ethical standards in the face of pressure or incentives to do otherwise.

This year, award winners discussed timely topics including transparency around ethical decision-making, fairness in accountability reporting, and minimizing harm when working with vulnerable sources.
